Draft. This policy is a working draft to be reviewed by the owner before launch. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.
This policy describes the information Tree Service Houston TX, a d/b/a of Dominion Digital Group, receives when you call (346) 680-8916 or visit treeserviceshoustontx.com, and what is done with it. In this policy, "the line", "we" and "us" mean Tree Service Houston TX.
Information you give on a call
Calls are answered by an automated assistant. To route your call, it asks for and collects:
- your name
- a callback number, along with the number you are calling from
- your city or ZIP code
- the kind of tree work you need and what the tree is doing
Do not give payment card numbers, account passwords or other sensitive details on the call. The line never asks for them, because it never charges you.
How it is used
Your details are used to find an independent, locally owned tree service company that works in your area, to transfer your call to it, and to pass your details along so it can call you back if it cannot answer. Call records may also be used to fix problems with the line, answer questions about a call and keep track of referrals for billing between the line and the companies.
Who it is shared with
Your name, numbers, location and job description are shared with the independent tree service company your call is transferred to, including the short summary that company hears before it picks up. That company then holds your information under its own practices. Beyond that, information is shared only with the service providers that run the phone system and website, as far as they need it to do that work, or when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to anyone for their marketing.
Text messages and mobile information
We do not send marketing text messages. Mobile phone numbers and any text messaging consent collected by the line are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your details are passed only to the tree service company your call is routed to, so it can respond to your request. That company may contact you about your request by call or text under its own policies, and you can tell it to stop.
This website
The website has no forms, accounts or sign-ups, so you do not type personal information into it. No analytics or advertising tracking is configured on the site at this time; if that changes, this policy will be updated first. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and protect the site. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts. If you switch the site to Español, a translation service may be loaded and may set a small cookie to remember the choice.
How long it is kept
Call details are kept only as long as needed to connect calls, handle questions about them, keep referral records and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Your choices
You can ask what information the line holds about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by calling (346) 680-8916. Information already passed to a tree service company is held by that company, so contact it directly about its records.
Children
The line and website are meant for adults arranging tree work for a home or property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version.
How this line works: Tree Service Houston TX is a free phone line, not a tree service company. It does not trim, remove, quote or schedule tree work and holds no license or arborist certification. Calls are transferred to independent, locally owned tree service companies in the Houston area. Those companies may pay Tree Service Houston TX a referral fee. You never pay the line. How it works.
